TCQ Recruitment has been founded by Guy Shipley who has over 20 yrs recruitment experience here in Australia.

Established in 2022 TCQ Recruitment was launched with a clear vision of becoming a market leading recruiter provider of permanent and fix term contract personnel in the construction industry and built environment.

About Us

My name is Guy Shipley I am the Managing Director of TCQ Recruitment Pty Ltd a specialist construction and engineering recruitment agency based in Sydney. I began my career in 25 yrs in recruitment beginning in 1996, initially in the UK and for the last 20 yrs here in Australia. I predominantly work within Permanent recruitment and have worked myself up through the ranks of the recruitment industry holding positions of NSW State Manager for Recruitment Companies and Head of Internal Recruitment for AW Edwards before setting up my own business TCQ Recruitment (Time Cost Quality Recruitment)

I have a proven track record working closely with a range of building companies from small boutique builders, medium tier builders, selected top tier builders, developers, client-side firms and major sub-contractors.

Approach

I have built my reputation on strong processes and not cutting corners with the recruitment process. Nothing beats a face-to-face interview or meeting with potential candidates and clients. The ability to understand a candidates skill set and to be able to articulate that to a client is a skill that seems to be lost in recent years. Taking a detailed job brief and understanding what makes a company successful is also a key to my success. Lifelong partnerships – a number of my clients I worked with for 20 + years here in Australia.
